Nois Bar Pattaya - Soi Khao Noi, East Pattaya

Effectively a "short time bar" (although much more than that and not a term either I or the owner particularly like) it is located in Soi Khao Noi in East Pattaya this is a popular bar especially with the local ex-pat community. Originally a single shop house bar it has recently been extended into a double shop front. One unit houses the main bar and pool table and the other a "snug" area with TVs and leather sofas and chairs. Both areas are air-conditioned.

There is a large outside area that is nicely laid out - perfect for the afternoon beer or two especially in the afternoon when its a little cooler.

There are usually several nice girls around with short time rooms available upstairs. There is absolutely NO hassle from the ladies either to sit with you or asking for lady drinks. That said they are a friendly bunch, more than happy to sit with you or play games - plus of course the extra curricular activities both short time (in house) or to go for the day/evening.

The most impressive aspect of this bar is the owner. An English guy who is always more than happy to chat with customers, new and old alike. The most refreshing thing is his attitude towards the girls who work for him in the bar. Unlike many establishments in Pattaya he really does make it his business to look after them with no minimum quotas of any description, good wages and good living accommodation for them on-site. He is also a fountain of local knowledge that he is more than happy to dispense.

All in all I REALLY liked this place, its got just about everything you could want in a bar in Pattaya, particularly if you are looking for a bar with that "home from home" feel to it (a "local" for you UK readers). Although it is very successful attracting most of its clientele from a thriving local community, it is well worth a trip out to the far side of Sukhumvit - although I would advise having your own transport. A great place to go and watch football (soccer type) as it is particularly lively when there are big games "live" on the TV in the snug area.
