Mon Cherrie Bar Pattaya

The Mon Cherrie Bar Pattaya occupies a corner position on Soi 8 and Beach Road. You cannot miss it.

 

Sit and enjoy a beer as the people meander down Soi 8 or change your viewpoint and look out to sea. Up to you. The bar is run by 'L' a formidable but rather lovely Thai Lady, who will guide any Newbies through the etiquette of bar life!

 

The bar itself is of a good size and there is plenty of space to relax at any time of day or night (unless it happens to be packed.) No problems when I visited on a Thursday night, although there were plenty of customers and Ladies about.

 

No food is available from the bar itself - it would be if they had a kitchen - but there is an extensive menu of Thai and Farang food, which any of the Ladies will be only too happy to source for you from the numerous eateries close by. The quality is good so no worries there. Just remember to give the Lady concerned a small tip for your personnel waitress service. Prices vary, but you can pay from 25 baht to 200 baht dependent on your choice. There is something for everyone.

 

The bar is open 24 hours a day seven days a week with a good range of music to stimulate the senses and a range of well priced drinks. i.e: Beer Chang - 40bht, Heineken - 50bht, Tiger - 40bht and Singha - 45bht. Cannot complain at that.

 

Games are available to play with the Ladies - no I mean bar games, and there is also a pool table for any would be 'hustlers'. I enjoyed a couple of rounds (lost) and spent some time chatting with the owner Mike and some of his friends. A friendly bunch and good fun.

 

OK. now you have had a couple of beers and enjoyed a good meal and chat at lunchtime. Back across the road to chill out on the beach. If you visit in the evening there is a good selection of Ladies available, all the previous still applies and for the princely sum of 300bht for a Ladies barfine - her Oyster is your world.
