Jade House Pattaya / Jomtien
The Jade House in Jomtien is actually a hotel but the adjoining bar is a popular afternoon venue, especially for ex-pats in Pattaya. It is located between Pattaya and Jomtien and is probably actually closer to Pattaya. If you take the baht bus to Jomtien it is on the left as you go up the hill towards Pattaya Water Park. (see map). I understand it is "open" from 1 p. m to 8 p. m but I am sure you can get a drink in the later evening too. The best day to go is Wednesday afternoon when they have the outdoor bar-b-q buffet. The buffet costs 200 baht but is discounted against your beer bin so is effectively free. The "girls" are a very friendly bunch but tend to be on the older side. It has been said they are mainly single mums and are happy to just sit and chat with no pressure for lady drinks or extra curriculur activities although shoprt time room in the hotel are readily available. In the old days it used to be a popular haunt for the Agogo girlos doing a bit of freelancing before heading off to work but that no longer seems to be the case. The bar itself consists of a large outside area but there is also a large, dark, indoor aircon bar full of large sofa type seating. The pool is attached to the hotel section but easily accessible and is available for use by bar customers and, at a price, the girls too. Without a doubt the pictures are the best way to explain why this bar is so popular in the afternoons
