Drunks and Dare a Licks - Jomtien

Drunks and Dare-a-licks is located in Jomtien, Soi 9. Just off Jomtien Beach Road. The bar is the 2nd bar on the left 50 meters up from the beach.

 

The bar has been established for many years and is famous for the  Drunks and Dare-a-Licks Barbecue nights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So far they have sold well over 20,000 steaks!  They say they taste better and are better value than even the big restaurants in Pattaya!

 

At 140 baht for a Rib Eye Steak and 120 Baht for a Pork Chop they are very good value. (You should see the size of the Pork Chops!)

 

I have eaten the steaks, with my family, many times and I would certainly say they are easily the best I have had in the Pattaya area at ANY price.

The bar always has a good range of beers plus of course the usual Thai beers Singha, Chang etc. The latest beers are Stella Artois and Chang Light. No British Ale yet but they are working on it.

Most of the customers are ex-pats but there are also a fair number of tourists, once they find out that the bar exists.

 

Many tourists tell Chris (the owner) they have been up and down the beach road but never knew about Drunks & Dare-a-Licks till the end of the holiday. Most wish they had found out about it sooner.

 

There are three TV's and also a large screen projector which is used for special occasions. The music (Not too loud) is classic rock, and when the internet is working OK they normally relay the new Radio Luxemburgh. (Best Classic Rock station around!?).
