Diana Dragon Pattaya - Soi Diana

The Diana Dragon Sports Bar and Apartments is to be found is to be found just off Soi Buakhao on Soi 13 (Soi Diana). It is open on two sides and provides an excellent sporting venue.

When I arrived (a Sunday afternoon) I received a warm welcome from Khun. Wasan who is the manager of the complex.

Obviously all major sporting events are all covered on the small and large screens located throughout the bar area and for those customers who feel more energetic there is a pool table available.

The bar is very Lady friendly i.e. you can bring your "tirak" down for a chat with her friends, and treat her to a cocktail (85 baht) without her feeling intimidated, while you get into sporting mode with the odd Chang beer at ridiculous prices.( small bottle 25 baht, large bottle 40 baht) probably the cheapest in Pattaya.

The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. There is a wide selection of food available - I enjoyed an excellent club sandwich at 70 baht, or you can push the boat out with a sirloin steak cooked over charcoal for 220 baht. Food is served all day with last orders being at midnight.


Accommodation wise there are a total of 44 rooms available with fans and air conditioning, safe, and cable TV.  Prices start at 400 baht per night and special offers are available for anyone wanting a longer stay i.e. the monthly rate is only 5,500 baht which works out at less than 200 baht per night.

Anyone staying at the Diana Dragon, also receives the benefits of being part of the Diana Group. i.e free swimming pool etc.

I could deffinately think of worse ways to spend a day or night. so next time your teams playing, head to the Diana bar and cheer them on.
