Dao Bar Pattaya

The Dao Bar is regarded by many expats as the best short time bar in Pattaya. Indeed by a number as the best bar in Pattaya period! I have never heard a bad comment about this bar in the 15 months I have known about it.

Although very well known amongst expats it is little known by tourists as the expats tend to keep this gem a secret. Also it is not easy to get to or easy to find when you are in the vicinity. I have heard of many people failing to find it and even when they find the cafe they cannot find the bar.

The Dao Cafe (to give it its proper name) is a hotel and restaurant/cafe. The "bar" is located BEHIND the cafe and swimming pool area. Rather than try to explain this, just go to the cafe area and ask one of the waitresses to show you how to get to the bar.

Once inside the first thing that hits you is the darkness, the second thing is the number and quality of the girls. It is VERY dark here, the only light being provided by neons and the fridge behind the bar. Inside is well laid out with one chrome pole and several lounge sofas to snuggle up on. There are also several short time rooms on the promises.

Dao Bar is located in Moo 9 off Soi Khao Noi

Drive up Soi Khao Noi and go over the railway. Keep going about 1km until you see a 7-Eleven on the left hand side. Turn left immediately at the 7. Up the hill about 500 metres and the Dao Cafe in on your left. Look out for the statue in the picture above at the entrance.

If you are von Soi Khao Noi and you see Nois Bar you have gone too far.
