Chaplins Bar is located in the R-Con Beer Bar Complex on Soi Buakhao. Allan the British owner has run the bar since 2008. Chaplins bar is a large beer bar with 3 pool tables. Due to its size the bar never seems overly busy which is great if you just like to sit and relax. There are two things that attract me to this bar, firstly Allan does not have his "girls" pour themselves all over the punters. If you want a girl to join you then all you need to do is ask her. Bar girls climbing all over me begging for drinks is a major tiurn off! The second thing I like about Chaplins bar is the musc, 60's,70's and 80's piped in through the TV set. None of the usually irratating Hip Hop stuff that is played every where at full volume. The drinks are around 60Bht. Give Chaplins a visit the next time you are looking for a quiet chill out.
