Pattaya Bars-Atlantic Bar Pattaya

The Atlantic Bar Pattaya is located on 2nd Road between Soi 3 and Soi 4. It is in a beer bar complex immediately opposite the Sabai Room soapy emporium.

There are usually around 35 girls working but they have a reputation for being aloof and standoffish. There are many reports on the various forums of high pressure tactics for lady drinks which rarely seem to be drunk as the girl simply moves on to the next target once she has her commission from you.

There is no doubt however that the girls (mermaids) are a good looking bunch but from few customers get the benefit outside the bar - in other words they don't "go".

That said it is undoubtedly a popular bar, especially with the "football" (soccer) crowd due to the large screen TV. There are a selection of pool tables to entertain you.

Atlantic is a nice bar, especially when they truck in the coyote dancers a couple times a week. But the review is right on track. Most of the girls really want nothing to do with the customers. I live in pattaya for 9 years now and still stop in there a few times a week. Better bar for the regular customer is cherry bar in same complex.

I have just returned from 8 days in Pattaya. I frequented the Atlantic Bar most evenings and found the mermaids to be a very friendly crowd and I made some good friends. As with women everwhere, treat them with respect and they will respond., Indeed one lady in particular captured my heart completely and stayed with me for the whole 8 days introducing me to some wonderful local (back street) Thai restaurants where the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. It did help having a Thai speaker as a companion though. I cannot praise the Atlantic Bar highly enough. Most of the bar girls have 1 or 2 children from relationships and have been dumped by the men who have then no responsibility for their children.
Correspondingly the girls, many from the poorer North East ,Isaan, or other poorer regions, leave their children with relatives and head for the coastal resorts to earn money to support and educate their families. Many of these girls have left school at 12 years old because their parents could not afford to educate them past the 6th grade and these girls, to their credit want more for their children. You have to respect what they are prepared to do to achieve these aims. From my own experience I know that not all customers look like Brad Pitt. Give them a break.
